Established in 2013, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Sonargaon University is committed to delivering quality engineering education through an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum that integrates academic excellence, practical training, and innovation. The department offers a four-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program designed to develop graduates with strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional competence.
The curriculum covers the core disciplines of Power Systems, Electronics, Communication Engineering, Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Microprocessors and Embedded Systems, while also embracing emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), VLSI Design, Robotics, Internet of Things (IoT), and Smart Systems through advanced courses, research, and project-based learning. Supported by experienced faculty members and modern laboratories, students gain extensive hands-on experience through laboratory work, industrial visits, seminars, workshops, technical competitions, and research activities.
