Md. Ferdous Khan

Biography

Md. Ferdous Khan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Sonargaon University, with nearly a decade of academic and technical experience. He earned his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB) in 2013 and is pursuing an M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Before joining Sonargaon University, he served as Chief Instructor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Technology at NIET Polytechnic Institute. His research interests include semiconductor devices, power systems, optimization techniques, radio-over-fiber communication, and electrical safety. He has published several research papers in international journals and IEEE conferences, covering topics such as gate-all-around (GAA) MOSFETs, fully depleted SOI transistors, radio-over-fiber technology, automatic voltage regulator optimization, and industrial safety. In addition to his research contributions, he is the author of the diploma-level textbook Basic Electricity, published in 2014.
