Md. Mobin Khan

Biography

EEE graduate from MIST and Lecturer in EEE, specializing in analog and mixed-signal CMOS IC design. My work sits at the intersection of low-power circuit architecture and approximate computing hardware for neuromorphic and edge-AI systems. During my undergraduate thesis, I designed and characterized a wideband current-starved VCO with source degeneration and an integrated charge pump, targeting biomedical sensor interfaces, with full post-layout verification in Cadence Virtuoso (90 nm). I also co-developed Pareto-optimal approximate Wallace Tree multipliers optimized for compute-in-memory (CIM) macros. Currently, I'm advancing two research tracks: an energy-efficient SAR ADC with adaptive sampling for ECG signal acquisition, and a VCO-based ADC integrating machine learning for dynamic signal adaptation in biomedical applications.
